The 2011-12 campaign kicked off August 31, 2011. 

Members of United Way of Allen County's 2011-2012 Campaign Cabinet include: Steve Smith, Allied Physicians, chair; Jeff Miller, Raytheon, vice chair; Herb Anderson, BF Goodrich USW Local 715; Bill Causey, SCORE; Kelly Clevenger, Phillips Financial; Eric Doden, Domo Ventures; Steve Lutz, Raytheon; Mike Marhenke, Grabill Bank; Ted McCracken, ITT Communications IUE/CWA Local 999; Craig Miller, SCORE; Randy Rusk, Do it Best Corp.; and Irene Walters, IPFW.

United Way’s Campaign Cabinet helps to raise money to support programming and initiatives in United Way’s three priority areas: Basic Needs, Success in School and Family Stability. This year’s Community Campaign goal is $5,339,823, a nine percent increase over last year. The specific campaign goal represents the amount needed in order to bring Allen County’s per capita giving in line with the rest of Indiana. Allen County’s per capita United Way giving was $13.79 and the state average per capita gift was $15.03 last year.
